It applies to patients, clients, authorized representatives, and employees who provide their mobile number and consent to receive text messages from us.

  • Send appointment reminders, visit confirmations, and rescheduling coordination;

We send text messages only to individuals who have provided prior express consent. Consent is obtained through our written opt-in form or, for employees, during onboarding. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you may request help by replying HELP.

5. Mobile Information and Third Parties

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number or messaging consent. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the messaging program (such as our SMS platform provider) strictly to deliver our messages, and only under obligations of confidentiality. These providers are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law.

6. Protected Health Information

Care Nest Home Care Agency is a home care provider. Where messages relate to your care, the information is handled in accordance with applicable healthcare privacy laws, including HIPAA where applicable. We limit the content of text messages to the minimum necessary and do not include sensitive clinical details in SMS.

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

8. Your Choices

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, you will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts unless you opt back in. You may also contact us using the information below to update your preferences.
